Meghan Markle has received strong support from fans following accusations that she was 'copying' Kate Middleton, after online critics noted a 'new' detail in her appearance.

Over the past weekend (20 September), Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, made an unexpected appearance at the One805Live! concert, an event that supports first responders in Santa Barbara, California.

This event, aimed at raising funds for crucial equipment and mental wellness programs for Santa Barbara County’s first responders, featured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on stage as Harry presented an award to Santa Barbara County Fire Chief, Mark Hartwig.

It wasn't long before people took to social media to share their opinions on Meghan's hair at the event, with many suggesting she had lightened her hair to 'imitate' the Princess of Wales. As royal watchers might know, she recently changed her signature dark brunette tresses to a much lighter blonde.

"Looks like she's wearing a Catherine WIG now," added another, referencing unfounded rumors that Kate has been using wigs for royal events.

However, it's essential to remember that such discussions are purely speculative.

Another critic remarked: "Meghan Markle, you're so predictable. Why don't you embrace your own style instead of trying to imitate the Princess of Wales by changing your hair color? It's disappointing."
