TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser returns to social media with video following death of three-year-old son

Social media influencer Emilie Kiser has made her return to TikTok with a video, marking her first appearance since the tragic loss of her three-year-old son.

The 26-year-old had been absent from the online world after her young son, Trigg, whom she shares with her husband, Brady Kiser, tragically drowned in their family pool in May.

At that time, Chandler Police responded to reports of a potential drowning at the family's Arizona residence, located about 25 miles from Phoenix, where they discovered that the toddler had fallen into the pool.

He suffered several injuries before being pulled out of the water, and officers and paramedics on the scene immediately administered CPR to the child.

First responders declared that Trigg was in critical condition when he was transported by ambulance to Chandler Regional Hospital.

The child was later airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where, sadly, he succumbed to his injuries just six days later, on May 18.

Now, four months after the heart-wrenching incident, Emilie, who is also a mother to six-month-old Theodore, has returned with a post to her 4.5 million TikTok followers.

Speaking to the camera on Saturday (20 September), she expressed: "Hi, everyone, I don’t even know what to say. It’s been a while since I’ve been here.

"I won’t lie, I’m really nervous right now. I’m not sure if there’s a right way to begin this video, but I’ll try my best.”

Emilie went on: "I’ve missed chatting with you all every day. I truly love this community we have, and I hope that by returning and sharing what I choose to, I can reconnect with you and maybe support anyone going through a similar ordeal.”

She added: “I’ve been offline for a while. I’m trying to figure this out, to sort my life out, day by day. I’ll do the same with my content.

“I’m not going to pretend everything is fine, and I don’t want it to seem that way as I start making content again. This process is really therapeutic for me."

Emilie continued: "I miss talking to you all, but I’m not sure what that will fully entail. I don’t know how much I’m ready to share, especially regarding my journey through grief.”

The mother mentioned she's still 'trying to process everything as best she can, day by day' and 'isn't sure when' she'll feel ready.

"I don’t know when I’ll be ready. If you’re experiencing anything similar, I just want to say that I love you, I’m here for you, and I understand how hard it is," she stated.

The influencer concluded the emotional video by filming herself cleaning her home, while fans noted she was wearing a necklace bearing her son's name, adding to the poignant scene.
