Terrifying stimulation reveals what could happen in first 30 minutes of nuclear war

A concerning simulation suggests what might occur if the United States initiated a nuclear conflict.

This comes as Russia proposes a one-year extension to the last standing nuclear arms treaty with America, essentially aiming to prevent a large-scale nuclear confrontation from occurring.

According to the Federation of American Scientists, the estimated military stockpiles of nuclear warheads for Russia and the US are 4,309 and 3,700, respectively. Now, a simulation shared by the YouTube channel 'Modern Muscle' attempts to depict the potential scenario if the US decided to deploy these weapons.

The chilling video description states: "Within approximately 30 minutes, the United States can launch over 1,000 nuclear weapons against its adversaries. This video provides a real-time simulation of such an event."

The animation begins with the launch of 400 LGM-30 Minuteman III ICBMs from silos, each possessing a range exceeding 6,000 miles and remarkable accuracy.

The simulation asserts that these missiles travel at speeds surpassing 15,000 mph, hitting their targets in under 30 minutes.

It details that 'each Minuteman III missile carries one warhead' and 'each warhead wields approximately 40 times the destructive capacity of the bombs dropped on Japan in 1945'.

The US operates a fleet of 14 Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines, also factored into the scenario, described as the military's most potent asset.

These submarines travel at 18,000 mph and cover 7,500 miles, with each capable of deploying its full 20-missile arsenal, almost undetected, in under seven minutes.

The video claims a single Trident II missile, equipped with five warheads, possesses 154 times the destructive force of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

The simulation alleges that Russia has about 126 operational ICBMs ready for launch from four different locations. Nonetheless, the US is assumed to have missiles aimed specifically at Russia's arsenal, particularly their Pacific Fleet.

However, people think the simulation has one quite important flaw (Getty Stock Image)

The video suggests that communication radars and telecommunication centers would also be targeted, along with the nation's nuclear arsenal.

In essence, about 30 minutes into the simulation, all Russian targets are obliterated, rendering the surrounding areas uninhabitable. However, viewers have pointed out that the simulation overlooks the possibility of retaliation from Russia or any other world nation.

This is a significant factor in the scenario, leading some to label the simulation as inaccurate.

One YouTube commenter remarked: "The reality is, the moment we launch, everyone launches."

Another added: "So, Russia will be idle, doing nothing, just waiting for the US missiles?"

A third commented: "I don't believe Russia would simply sit by and wait for the nukes to strike."

"It wasn't a nuclear WAR but merely a nuclear strike. The counterattack from the Russian side should be shown," agreed a fourth.
